Please note that our Services are intended for informational and organizational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice.
Geographic Availability
Koody’s tax-preparation suite is available exclusively to users in the United States. Our transaction import and automatic categorization features are optimized for users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Users in other countries may still use Koody’s other features, including budgeting, expense tracking, and cash flow management.
Account Registration and Security
To use certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Subscription and Payment
We offer a subscription-based model with the following terms:
- Free Trial: New users may access a one-month free trial.
- Subscription Fees: After the trial period, continued access requires payment of subscription fees as outlined in our pricing page.
- Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, access to premium features will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
Except for the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee described below and where required by law, all fees are non-refundable.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Koody offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on a customer's first paid Koody Plus purchase when the billing country associated with the purchase is the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia. To qualify, you must request the refund within 30 calendar days of the initial Plus charge. The guarantee may be used once per customer and does not apply to renewals, repeat subscriptions, prior charges, other plans, or customers who have already received a refund under the guarantee.
If you purchased Plus directly through Koody's website, emailhello@koody.com from the email address associated with your Koody account.
If you purchased Plus through Apple's App Store, request the refund from Apple atreportaproblem.apple.com. If you purchased through Google Play, submit the request through Google Play. If Google directs you to the developer, emailhello@koody.com.
Refunds processed by Apple or Google remain subject to the applicable store's procedures. This guarantee does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
User Conduct
You agree not to use our Services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe upon the rights of others.
- Transmit any harmful or malicious code.
- Engage in unauthorized data collection or scraping.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Bank Connections and Data Import
Our Services may allow you to connect your bank accounts or upload financial data. By using these features, you:
- Authorize us to access and process your financial data solely for providing the Services.
- Acknowledge that we use third-party services to facilitate bank connections and data imports.
- Understand that we do not store your bank login credentials.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of data imported from external sources.
